Big Island police are asking the public’s assistance in locating a 21-year-old Hilo man wanted on outstanding warrants and for questioning in connection with recent burglaries in the Kaumana area.

Big Island police are asking the public’s assistance in locating a 21-year-old Hilo man wanted on outstanding warrants and for questioning in connection with recent burglaries in the Kaumana area.

Kyson Kaleiwahea is described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He also has tattoos behind his neck, left leg, and lower back. Kakeiwahea is believed to be in the Kaumana or Piihonua areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
